This has excellent resources describing the correct use of social media sites such as Snap Chat, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
NSPCC – Keeping Children Safe Online
This site gives you the parent guidance on supporting your young person about having discussions with them regarding safe internet usage, this includes, safe browsing, appropriate sharing of materials and also setting parental controls onto their device and browser.
